Ah yes, the perjury charge for which he should have been in jail. I literally watched an attorney (he was the defendant in a civil tax case) testify in trial about the authenticity of 50 documents. For each one he testified under oath that his father had signed the document on the date indicated on the document. The problem was that we had a certified copy of the father's certficate of death establishing that the father had died prior to the date of the earliest document. So, he committed 50 acts of perjury in a civil trial. I submitted the transcript together with copies of all documents to the prosecutors. I called. I visted their offices. They were too busy with "real" crimes to be bothered with this. Had Clinton been treated like a "regular" citizen, there would never have been a perjury count mentioned. Had Clinton actually committed the rapes of which you fantasize, he would have been nailed to the wall as governor or during his campaign. Meanwhile, the Bush administration manufactures "evidence" (see Powell's testimony at the UN) and implies for months that Iraq was behind 9-11 to stampede the country to war in Iraq. You impeach Clinton for lying about consensual sex, but stand behind Bush & Co. when they lie to force the country into war. Talk to the wife/mother who is hanging up a "Welcome Home" sign for her marine husband coming back from Iraq, only to learn he will be heading back for another tour in 4 weeks. Go visit Walter Reed hospital. Talk to doctors who are so busy treating war wounded that taking an afternoon to attend the funeral of one of their patients is considered time off - the first time off in two weeks. (Yes, I have done all of these things.) All because of a war that diverts resources and effort from combatting terrorism. I was being charitable when referring to Bush as one of our lesser presidents.
