I was just wondering about some of the things here in the game. I have become rather addicted to World of Warcraft.  But every now and then, I wonder about taking a ride up in AH
 
I was hoping someone would be kind enough to get me up to speed on how things are going.  There is a lot of BBS threads to browse through otherwise

I was wondering about such things as;

Do the 109s have their high speed flaps yet?

How about the 109 views, there was some discussion on changing those to more like the older 109s.

Did the 109G6 get it’s 30mms back?

Whats' up with the 109F4 now, did it get it's old guns package back?

Have they beefed up the 190’s turn rate?

Do they now have fighter towns in most maps now, or have they abandoned the FT concept?

I am thinking of upgrading my hardware.  All I have is a +3200 Athlon with 1.5 GB of RAM and a 256MB ATI X700 card.  I had lots of stutters in AH when I played it with this hardware.  Of course it runs like silk in WOW, but that is a different type of gaming requirement.  Once I get new hardware, I may look at flying a few sorties.  If I can get away from my Night Elf Druid that is... LOL

Not sure about the 109/190 family as I don't fly any of them really.     As for FT, yes we have one that is just a FT and then the basic TT with the fighters always coming in for the bombers and jabo's.  Come take a ride as the AK's has some new guys, myself included.  I am sure more guys will post up in here and answer your questions better than I could.  Hopefully see you in the skies!

G6 won't get 30mm back. Fly G14 for that. F4 is still debatable if it'll ever get gondies back. I'd like to see the 500KG back for it.

FT/TT still the same -- depends on the map. Always has, always will. That's not something that you can code, because it relies on the map.

Why not just install it and try the 109s offline. The flaps work at higher speeds, but are not "high speed" (200mph and slower, but still a big benefit over what they used to be).

109s don't have improved rate of turn or turn radius, but they now don't flop like a fish if you get under 300mph. Because of this you can get them to the same turn rate/speed but with much more control. They are almost monsters now.
