shshshshsh.  that's not supposed to happen in this forum.

wishes are serious and serious people do not go blowing beer out of thier noses.  i don't want to get in trouble so you just behave yourself mister.

geesh.

;)

thank you hitech and skuzzy for allowing me the experience of nuking chuck norris (which was awesome...and was something that really just had to be done.)

I'd have to consider playing flight sims again if AH adds nukes.

Yeah, theres something especially intresting that just came out. Flight sim X. I heard it's got a multiplayer feature built in better than Aces High. I guess HTC would have to lose my business if the nuke is added!

i am sure the Hitech will be happy to note that you are not only threatening others with his "aggression" but that you are equally happy to announce publicly that you will jump ship if he does'nt follow your bidding.

bright boy.

maybe hitech would be better off without you then.

i have to admit that i am pretty shocked by the response that this idea has recieved.

it's not like i am talking about some massive change to the gameplay that it would remove dogfights and groundwars and everything would suddenly go nuclear.

and i was kidding about the map reset...i should have been clear on that from the git go.  most who know me elsewhere have aquired a better understanding of my approach.

i was merely suggesting that the nuclear bomb, which was dropped from a bomber, be added but at such a massive price that it would take an individual player an extremely long time to aquire one.  just like in real life.

they would cost so much that they would be rare.

but that they would be available.

that said, there are some who would try to aquire one.  (just like real life)
and it would probably be an incentive for some to play more.  i have talked to some who would like to see it done in a manner that is reasonable.

i can also imagine a degree of interest from former players who would come back for a new feature.

and write ups in magazines about a game with nukes.

and conversations about why some think that it is acceptable to kill fake people in planes with conventional fake weapons but not fake nuclear weapons.

IMHO it's a war game not a flight sim.

there are sides and they fight to win.

call it what you want, but it happened and it is a part of the era and the arena that we are playing in historically and i think it's a fine idea.

Maybe, HTC can develope the Nuke, and ONCE A YEAR hve a single scenario receating that mission? the two bomber pilots who have proved themselves best fly the Enola Gay, and that other one, and I think there were other conventional bombers there as well (I dont know jack ***** about that mission, im more a fan of the conventional war), and whoever is on the japanese side tries to intercept the nukes? This way, it wouldnt be ridiculous in the MA, but all the little kiddies who want nukes can get them and shut up!

And a Nuke as an incentive would get LOTS of people joining bomber squads!

[\ but all the little kiddies who want nukes can get them and shut up! [/B][/QUOTE]

:huh

you type to your momma with that mouth?

a scenario might be interesting.  most certainly.  it would be quite an event wouldnt it?

it could only be on only one map too.

the gameplay here is awesome, bit still lacks some diversity of schema.

i think that some of that some of this could be overcome with maps that
had variety of weather or climate changes, or objectives.
a nuch smaller map that has a night function or a winter function. so that it doesnt last long but goes a long way over the larger maps.

i think that i have just come to appreciate what these guys must be going through to get this thing to make us all happy so they can make a buck and do what they can to provide for others.

just wishes.

not demands.

what you call begging i call lobbying for wishes.

: )

has anyone ever seen a period game with nukes?

shall we play a game joshua? _

a reinactment.  i like that idea alot.

i am more for enhancing the graphical environment.

but i have stated that many times before.

still love the game.  it's great to fly.

I've seen a game with a nuke, and it really killed the frame rate! And by the way, if we get a nuke, santa claus won't be coming to Aces High anymore!
