Unfortunately, the recent war in Lebanon is being interpreted by the Muslim world as a major defeat for Israel and a signal that the days of her military invincibility are over. This is causing a sea-change in Arab military thinking and perception as profound as the changed perception of the Army of Northern Virginia following the Union victory at Gettysburg. The days when a ground war against Israel was immediately ruled out by Muslim nations are definitely over, Assad is already boasting that Syria will soon liberate the Golan heights.

This perception is not entirely without merit. The current generation of Israelis is  perhaps the least politically unified in the history of modern Israel, and has shown that it is simply not the same "tough as nails and willing to fight to the death" community that won in '48, '67, and '73. Many are beginning to ask if Israel might not have some of the same inherent problems and weaknesses that have hamstrung the ability of Western nations to effectively respond to the Jihadis. Could it be that they are gradually becoming as soft and visionless as the Western democracies?

You folks all worry too much...

Much to the disappointment of many of you (and CNN) it is already Aug 22 over there and nothing (out of the ordinary) is happening..

Nothing unusual will continue to happen.

Much like (to the disappointment of CNN) space shuttles don't blow up on every flight.

Stop getting sucked into the madness.  The world just really isn't that scary.

If you walk down the street right now, I got 20 bucks that says you don't die.   Stop letting people tell you what to be afraid of.  Look out your window and decide on your own.

Its a profit I would gladly give up in a second for peace, but what the heck... if i dont make the money someone else will anyway.

Those years are so important in your development. Its when they get you, and it really should be forbidden to introduce evil to kids at that age.

And here you are... playing war games with other militants when you should be out playing with boys. It proves my point really so no trying to paddle your way out of it.

So far this guys were deadly serious and always did what they promised :(

Did this completely skip everyone?!? Im not that worried about the middle east. We have more nukes than them, and they are more accurate. But I have friends FROM Russia, and IN Russia right now. Whats going on Boroda? I hope you wont be anywhere near it.
