This guys cancelled their action, anounced it in the morning on 22nd and stopped their publicity on the internet.

People still wonder if it was a silly joke. So far that guy Morozov always did what he declared, including a fencing duel with a professional fencer, on real sharp sabres.

I completely supported this guys when they "tomatoed" our liberastic politicians and journalists, but using a mortar against an imbecilic democratopithecus demonstration is a little bit too much.

Our "right-wing" liberals happily celebrated the Russian Flag day, that is on Aug 22nd, the day when so-called "coup" was "defeated" in 1991, that caused a cancellation of the new Union Treaty between the republics and led to disbanding USSR and "democratic" reforms that made millions starve.

It's quite confusing to see some group of people celebrating this sad date, after this 15 years. So that "Red Blizkrieg" guys threatened to fire mortar at the demonstration... BTW, most of the "demonstrants" are aroud 20 years old or even younger, and didn't see the event they celebrate because they were pissing into chamber-pots in 1991. Fortunately - "day of the mortar" was cancelled, so noone really knows if they have weapons or not.

BTW, while Evil Commies in 1991 didn't order fire at the protesters, in 1993 democratic president Yeltsin have torn the Constitution, overthrew elected Parliament (Supreme Counsil) and ordered troops to fire at Parliament building, executing thousands at the near-by stadium and shooting hundreeds of protesters from BTR heavy macineguns in Ostankino near the TV center. I hope you see the difference between good and evil, don't you?...

Oh wait thats Iraq, never mind theres too many wars going on its hard to keep up with who's next.

I'm hoping we learned something from Iraq. Next time we go after a middle eastern country we shouldn't be so quick to destroy their military capability. We should take our time and let them think they have a chance. Then perhaps all those interested in fighting will come out to play and not lay low sandbaging for a later insurrection.

We didn't destroy the military in Iraq, they all went home and changed clothes, now we call them insurgents. So basically we can't beat them right now cause they're cheating, therefore just kill them all, and let Allah sort them out.

In late September, 1993, Yeltsin disbanded the Parliament (Supreme Counsil, or Soviet in Russian). By October 3rd, followers of constitutional power started to get hold of government buildings and infrastructure in Moscow. So Yeltsin threatened the military commanders, and relied on corrupt generals, sending troops to Msk, that shot tank guns at Parliament builiding, filtered all Parliament building defenders, executing them at Krasnaya Presnya stadium at the backyard of Parliament, Latin-American style, and sent troops that shot protesters at the square near Ostankino TV center...

It WAS shown in the US, you probably remember a huge white building burning from the middle to the top on TV. For you guys it was entertainment, for us it was a tragedy, but I have to admit that I didn't realise it back then.

The only good thing about it is that it was the last time when I was awoken by tanks and BMPs entering Moscow via Leningrad highway where I live, with all that roaring, clinging and farting.

Sorry, going to have some sleep now, pictures and videos later, OK?

Yes, it was shown here and I do remember the general story, but I think that it was reported here as a "bloodless" affair. Even the coup leaders were not executed. It is inevitable that when tanks fire at the buildings some people will die, but the cold blooded executions, it's news to me.

BTW, you've used  the term "followers of the constitutional power". Who were they? Civilians? Military troops? Special forces?

Was it a commie constitution that they've defended, or was it a post commie constitution?

My windows look at the Leningrad highway, it's about 100m. Imagine a huge convoy of BMPs and tanks going there. How do you think an exaust from several hundreeds of multi-fuel opposite tank diesels smell? Flowers?...
