We forgot about those?
« on: August 23, 2006, 12:59:15 AM »
Saw an interesting doc yesterday about Transnistria

Nice little regime with one of the biggest USSR weapon warehouses unlocked. Apparently over a hundred nuclear suitcases are missing from their inventory.

If Transnistria is anything like Transylvania I think it should be put on one of the axis in the axis of evil drawing we all know Bush has on his desk in the oval office.

Vampires with nukes are no good imo, although i doubt they would use nuke. Their food would be contaminatied.

would they be resistant to radioactivity due to thier immortality or would they be torturously consumed by the side effects such as sickness, strange genetic mutations or male pattern baldness?

sunlight.  is it possible that a vampire could be destroyed by the flash of an atom bomb?  is it the same wavelength?  is wavelength relevent?

could a special uv vampire killing flash light be used effectively against a vampire or it is based on actual fusion wattage?

Ok..

Your list of things that kills vampires are true.. all of them kills regular folks too and number 3 on that list will kill any nerd.

Same goes for things you listed that harm vampires.

Your list of properties is interesting because it is also a list that any geek/nerd belives he has or can do.

My conclusion is that nerds and geeks are infact... vampires.

very interesting postulation nilsen, however, i wonder if the sharing of a geeks base properties is enough to close the book on vampiricness.

for instance, though a geek may believe that he has the same properties, in many cases he does not. well, everything but non reflective that is.

are there any geeks that you know of here that we can use as a test subject?

Could very well be JB88. I have never seen any evidence that this is not the case.

we could try to post images of things that a vampire would really hate...

if we hear someone scream then we cou...oh.  wait.  nevermind.

if someone screamed that could just mean that someone was being attacked by the vampire.
