What happens if you get busted?

What would you do if you get convicted of a "hanous" crime (Any of which you can imagine) and you are found "GUILTY". The judge sentences you to a period of time in jail SO LONG, that your Parol Officer's parents haven't even been born yet?

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?!?

(Me personally, I would freak out and flip the DA, then hope I made it visible enough that the DA pays me a visit to reduce my sentence if I apologize. That's if it was offensive enough:D )

i would devote my time in prison to making money for when i got out.

if it was life or death penalty, i would try to escape at the right moment, and prolly get shot, but worth a go.
