George Bush does not like black people...NO survivors don't like Bush either.

I found it funny that he had a press conference with a Hurricane Katrina victim(white)and his almost exact words were "This is someone I am comfortable talking with".  Guess the majority of those affected down there(black) didnt wanna force good words about ya on TV, eh Georgie.

What's average?  There have been 3 named storms this season.  This is above average?

I always wondered why the Mayor of Hershey, PA didn't sue NO Mayor Nagin over that "Chocolate City" remark.

Oh Well...

Three named storms (with a fourth probably being named today or tomorrow sometime) before September is above average, I think. I'm not looking at statistics, but usually we may get 1 or two named storms before September. In September the activity increases dramatically.

Numbers aside, there is a lot of shear in the  Atlantic, Caribbean and gulf so that it keeping a lot of tropical waves from developing. I think about 6 or 7 waves have passed through the Caribbean/GOM so far this year. That's a lot to have before September, and I'm awfully glad for the shear. Should this shear relax, things are going to get very busy.

Yea yea, its all about race. Liberals seem fixated on race:rolleyes:

Also, you are quite wrong that mostly blacks were affected. You are horribly wrong- you better fact check.

Blanco released this statement a little while ago...
--
Blanco to NYC: We Love You

10:49 AM CDT on Friday, August 25, 2006

On behalf of the people of Louisiana, I want to reiterate our thanks and appreciation to all of America, and especially to the people of New York, for their outpouring of help, prayers and support after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita last fall.

We have a special connection with New Yorkers and they with us. Because of their tragedy five years ago, New Yorkers knew firsthand the devastation felt by the people of Louisiana during those unforgettable days of rescue following Katrina. Just as the people of Louisiana quickly moved to help with recovery from 9-11, the people of New York returned the favor in ways we will remember forever.

Please know that our great State recognizes New York's special position as one of the World's greatest cities and we admire its people.  We love visiting New York and we know you love coming to New Orleans, so please plan to come again soon and we will welcome you with our unique brand of hospitality.

She forgot to mention New Orleans has an idiot for a mayor but I guess most know that by now.

I think instead of helicopter airlifts, tens of thousands of inflatable coleman rafts should have been dropped on New Orleans.  Would have gotten the people out alot quicker.

I did see a bunch of people screaming for food about 24 hours after Katrina hit.  I guess they didn't realize that humans can go about two months without food.

If they do rebuild New Orleans, I suggest opening a huge factory so that all the poor people can have jobs.  If your too poor to be able to leave your own city, even if just for a few days, then you have major problems.  Plus that would allow them to meet the conditions of their parole (having a job and all).

Probably because the mayor isn't the president of Hershey.

Btw, have you ever been to hershey?  I swear to god the streets smell like chocolate.

He is correct.
They took longer to decide how to replace the WTC then he has had to rebuild NO.
