It's a $7,500.00 raise.

I'm getting $250.00 more per month, after taxes, than I was.

Seeing as I'm supporting my mom and 4 half siblings, I think I'll keep it. Keeping them off of the Government rolls is a good thing. I think you agree with that. And with taking responsiblity for one's family.

Now if i could convince congress to pay me as much for my military job as i'd get in the civilian world

Now that you are part of the "rich", your taxes need to be raised!! Your government has concluded you "have" way too much!!!

Congrats on obtaining more disposable dollars, now get out there and spend,spend spend!! It is up to you to keep the economy rollin!!!
