no offense, but my memory says the musketeers was from AW and was original as it gets ( late 89 or early 90/91?), then Rapier went and wrote alot of the flight/game/training manual for  FA , then again I am gettin on in my age and it could have been another game altogether.........

in any case, welcome to Aces High................bar is  back <---------that away ;)

Hiya TC,

Thanks for clearing that up.

Most of the Musketeer Escadrille guys from FA probably never knew that Rapier was a Muskie from AW. The Musketeers in AH are from the original AW squad and the Musketeer Escadrille in AH is from the FA Musketeer Escadrille squad. Rap didn't start a squad in FA because of his position there. When some Muskies did start a squad in FA the Musketeer Escadrille was already established there so they may think of us as the "new" guys.

When both squads are called Muskies it gets confusing.  :)

Thanks TC...

You saved me the trouble (read the thread just before leaving for work :)). Athos was the Muskie leader when I started in the summer of '90. Gotta love worthy enemies. :)

"The Musketeers Escadrille" were the orginal  "Musketeers" in FA  Micro`s Fighter Ace.. Our 1st CO. StingDoctor,  and # 2 Putzlop were the founders
and Leaders from  the Squads conception... The " Airwarriors Musketeers..... petitioned" Fighter Ace" for Squadron Name Rights .. and  were" turned down"!.  I have the most respect for "AW Musketeers"and wish only the Best!.  But" The Musketeers Escadrille "..
are they only" Musketeers (offical) Escadrille"In FA... simply because  We  were there 1ST..

Eagler is the only one of your group that I know, but he is one of the best people in AH. He is a very good stick, but more importantly he is a class act.

Happ,

Good to see you in here again.  Eagler is still around, and every once in a while Thorns shows up.  I haven't seen anyone else in quite some time.  I get on from time to time, usually in a mossie and jabo here and there.  I hope you get back on and if/when you do look me up.  I sure do miss those FA days.

Higgins_Mskt

P.S.  Eagler is a class act all the way

You Musketeers should do a get together and fly in the Battle of Britain scenario coming up.  In case you are interested in it, details are here:

Howdy, NB, TC, and Grits!

You know, I still have a video that was done by one of the Musketeers for an AW con in mid 1990's.  It was awesome.  I'm going to see if I can get it converted into a divx or mpeg to upload so that you guys can see it in case you don't already have a copy.
