Achtung, Spitfeur! (BOB 2006)
« on: August 27, 2006, 11:59:39 AM »
Have you ever wanted to travel to England? You can now see it first hand from 20,000 feet!

Have you been jealous of those little gits in London because you can't pull off the same accent at dinner parties? Now you can learn it directly from the POWs you shoot down!

Ever vow to get back at the Spitfire for all the dweebiness it holds in the MA? Now's your chance! Fight the weakest variant in the game!

Ever yearn to at least try on the leather underwear once? Now you can hop into some LW iron and fly to Britian! What's more you get to see things go BOOM!

Sign up for the Battle of Britain 2006! The LW needs you! Join our ranks and pound the British RAF into the rubble it so richly deserves to be!

"This scenario is scheduled for Saturdays, September 23, September 30, October 7, and October 14 at 3 pm Eastern US, 12 noon Pacific US, 8 pm UK, 9 pm Germany, 5 am next day (Sunday) Eastern Australia, 4 am next day (Sunday) Japan."

Woot.  Another opportunity to demonstrate that the 110C doesn't deserve it's bad reputation.

HA! Just got my pair of "lederhosen". Cool.

But they're very stiff and they squeak. Do I need to oil them or something? Can I wear them in a Messerschmitt on the way to England?

Looking forward to it

To be able to emulate what "the few" did 66 years ago is special.

Hopefully many Luft planes will end up scrap metal to do them justice.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
