Uh-oh...
« on: August 29, 2006, 11:11:13 AM »
Ok, I was driving my Mazda B4k '98 model.

And took my dog to the park, well I went to place it in park, and the arrow that shows you what gear box your in, pushed through and came back towards the N part.

So when I'm in park it shows to the right of P.

I'm in D and it shows I'm in 2.

I'm in N and it shows I'm in D

The display is.
[P N D 2 1]

So I go to park and it does this.

[P|N D 2 1]

I get in drive and.

[P N D |2 1]

So, is there an easy fix, or is it the mechanics shop for me?

I gotta go back to carmax anyways, they gotta replace the fan on my radiatior it's stopped making that humm noise but starts to make occasional rattling noises.

I always looked at little issues like this as a great excuse for not letting your friends borrow your car.

My car has been like that for years.  It's never really been an issue.

Nope, this is standard quality expectations for Ford products.

Wait, why am I putting a 13B in my plane again?

Regarding Carmax, I purchased two cars there and had great experiences with both.  Great quality cars, good prices, and solid service backups, I recommend them.

Yea, so far no problems.

I'll find out when I take this one in though, seeing as one of the problems was pre-existing.
