help with map controller advanced settings sliders

I have set my sliders of my settings in map controllers advanced feature but when I hit ok and pull them back up, they are at default again.  How do I make them stay where I want them?  Its the window where you have the group of sliders on the right, and deadbang and dampening on the left of the page.  None will stay where I want them to.  HELP!

You have to select an axis first in the "Map Controllers" panel.  The name of the axis you are working with is displayed at the top of the "Advanced" panel.
