Tired of the horde and land grab?
« on: August 31, 2006, 03:41:19 PM »
A short while back Toad, Rude, Shamus and myself along with a few gents who were already in the DA just went there to furball in early to mid war aircraft.  We had a blast.

We could organize this if we get some people interested.  Could be an everyday event, or we can pick a time to do this if we get enough people interested.

Mindless furballing is a hoot.  Kind of tired of Big Maps with three hordes and the small maps with two hordes.

We have huge maps on which to fight. But always there may be only 3 or 4 grids on this map populated with people fighting.  99% of the Map is not used!

Knits are getting overwhelmed on a daily basis.  Not just in losing bases but being subjected to hordes from Rooks and Bish.  Bish until last night were generally subject to just rook hordes that flew at 86K.

Not my idea of fun.  I've run this idea before.  Respond here if interested and lets get something going!

I can tell you this, with the map last week I was board beyond tears most of the time.

Ohio is in Eastern time zone right, Post call up on 200, if I'm on and board I'll join ya. Or I'll check the DA if there are numbers in there.

If you make it Euro friendly, count me and my HMk1 in.

If not (time wise) - ill join on my sleepless nights as cannon fodder.

Would enjoy playing target for something other than the mindless horde, count me in. Don't get to play very much anymore so if I see numbers in the DA, I'll be there.

I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack

Count me in, gettin sick of the mindless horde mentality in MA anyway.

Seems like everyone is hiding in the hordes now.

I'm back since 4-5 weeks since a long break....the most fun I had since then is Batfink's P47-109 event in SA!!!

OK...hope more want to get involved...just on myself and frankly the whole squad logged right after Apar did.

Was nothing but 20 on 1.

So....lets get a definitive time for this so we can all be there at same time.

I live in the Eastern time zone in the US.  Schatzi lives about 7 hours ahead of my time zone.

Remember early to midwar craft only.  We aren't playing for score we're playing the way I believe the game was intended to be played.  Like it was 7 years ago.  A good fight with a respected opponent or opponents, a and get into the air again.

Post your time zones we will get a consenesus and try this this Friday Saturday or Sunday or all three.  We will make it a regular event for those that like to do this...and if you're tired of the MA believe me you will enjoy this greatly.

I'm on the east coast but other squad members are from all over, as far east as sweden to the california coast.  I'm sure they would log on as well as word spreads.

If that includes the P-38G, sounds like fun. :)

If not, I can grab a Tony and have even more fun :D
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

86k? That must have been when I went AFK to the loo and i forgot what I was doing prior to that... (this kind of pauses seem to last longer and longer with time...)

I am looking to get some training in the 109e for the upcomming Bob... this sounds about right, count me in!

For that very reason, I cannot come. Just before I log off for the night, we have taken two, three, sometimes even four bases in ten minutes. As soon as I leave, we lose the whol map. OBVIOUSLY, the entire country relies on my presence :D
