Tigers

Okay, I have just saved up enough GV points for a tiger (I dont use GVs much, so it took a while) I have only ever used one before, and I made the mistake of taking it to tank town. Killed two panzers, then got owned. So now before I waste another of my favorite kitties, what is a SAFE situation to use a tiger in? I want to be able to kill stuff, I just also want a situation where a mediocre-at-best GV driver can land a very expensive deathtrap.

If you want to have a little bit of fun with the Tiger while minimzing the risk to your perks, use it defensively. If you spawn to an enemy base (or TT), say  goodbye to your perks.
Use this tank in defense of Vehicle bases. If you want to be even more cautious, or if you are making "last stand" kind of defenses, park your tank on concrete (preferably near maproom), so you can "land" your precious Tiger when your tracks or engine are disabled.

If you survive in such a prolonged base defense long enough, sooner or late the enemy will send heavy jabos or buffs to kill you. In such a case, you canīt rely on your thick armor alone, a direct hit of 1000lbs bombs  is deadly to you as if you would sit an M16. Be on the move if enemy planes are trying to nail you! Learn to watch the sky and steer your tank from commanders position (Its an old untrue myth that you will get killed easier if you are "unbuttoned"). Like in aircombat, turn into an attacking plane & get speed. When your enemy releases his ordonance, turn left or right suddenly but not too sharp - you donīt want to lose too much speed if bombs are falling.

Thanks. Unfortunately, if things havnt changed, we are still on the offensive as far as V-bases are concerned.
