It is "improved" yes.

It still sucks to fly in it though.

That screenshot is not what normal "night" looks like in AH. You want normal night go into AH offline and set the time to midnight. Better. But still not worth it.

if they had a nite variant of both spit16 and la7 alot of people prob wouldnt care. Theres a whole mess of planes that could be used at nite, for one the p61... a plane that has been requested many times before would be a great addition to the "nite" plane set.

I think night was eliminated to be fair to everyone. From what I recall there was a faction that said to ground planes that weren't night qualified and a faction that screamed bloody murder at that idea.

For realism's sake grounding unqualified planes at night and adding landing lights to the planes that had them would be the only choice. For play sake, eliminating night is the only choice.

theres a good number of night fighters. hellcat has one and f4u has one(for the top of my head), and theres tons of guys that want p61. htc has to figure out a way to work the radar systems for the fightrers.

This is a cut and paste from another thread I posted in...

Just a few that did not have landing lights...

F4U-1C, F4U-1D, F6F-3, F2A, A20-G, Mossy

Some that did...

P38-J, P38-L, P39, P47, P51, Hurricane

The ones that did not have them may have gotten them added at some point in the field, but they did not have them off the production line.

You'll also notice the planes listed as having them were also night fighters. And those that did not have them in many cases also did not have instrument panel lights.

Never liked night time flying in real life, certainly do not like it in this game.
