Remeber, a P-40E is nothing but a P-40 with an Emil on it's tail.

Not a clue.

On a side note, when I was an active pilot on AH with the 325th, the P-40E was the only Allied plane that seemed uber in my hands.  I don't know why but it seemed I could really fling that thing around the sky pretty damn good in the N. Africa setting in the ole CT .

Energy is everything and make those .50's count.  It's not an ACM as much as it is a SA plane.  Also, back then I flew with a squad and teamwork went along way.  That's why I almost never flew in the MA.  The whor(d)e mentallity is something that I just didn't get into.

No matter what happens remember this: you will always look better in the 40E than any other fighter.  It's that cool.

That's also a common mistake.  If you want waffles, go to Waffle House.

AFAIK, just use the simple circle-and-pipper sight for any of the early-war US planes, they didnt get too fancy until later on. I don't know how accurately restored it is, but in the Roaring Glory video Jeff Ethell did with Bill Anderson's P-40 at Geneseo years ago, the gunsight is just a simple one.

PM me your e-mail and I'll send you my P-40 sounds, I've mixed and matched and compared with the sounds from that video (I'd record directly from it if I knew how to take audio out) and they match up pretty good.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
