for the t/a. Htc did a whole new map and it looks good, section for everything. BUt when im practiceing  it would make it easier if i can see where im hiting, example, red for 30mm orange for 20mm yellow for .50s white for .30s, just an idea. Yes rounds that hit the cockpit cant be colored, it would suck to see a big blot of green in ur back window well u are fighting.

Does this sound any good, would this be easy to do?

Yeah, I like this. Either that, or turn building damage on, because I dont see the point of practicing shooting, if you cant even tell if you are hitting!

yea i did some dive bombing the other day but theres no point if u pull ur nose up and dont noe if ur hitting. building damage i feel needs to be turned on regardless. I guess u just set it so it comes back up fast, like 1 mins 2mins.

a) usually your bomb craters give you a good indication were your ordonance hit the ground
b) do what i did - FILM your flights, even your practice flights

if you don't know where your bomb went then you don't need to be practising bombing or shooting, you desperately need to work on that SA :lol

you will know that you hit if you hear a bang but see no crater, because it means you hit your target dead on ;)

and paintballs is a bit of a silly idea really, would suck up frame rate, and need a new code inserted just to allow it, for what, a few bits of colour that you wont see until you're within 25 yrds? sorry mate, no need for it.

you can SEE which bullets are hitting by the hit sprites, the larger the sprite, the bigger the round ;)

also, you shouldn't really be shooting with 2 different gun types, eg 30mm and 50 cals, because then it's likely that you'll miss with both :D shoot with your main gun, eg, the 30mm here, until you're out, then you use your secondary weapons to fight your way back home.

it's different in a pony or something like that because it has multiple sets of the same gun :)

Well, whenever IM dive-bombing in the TA, once I release, I throttle up, to pick up somemore speed AS I pull up, which means all I can hear is the thrum of the engine, and I dont rekease all that low, so I KNOW it hit IN the town, but I dont know where in.

Hey there Reynolds Ya know there was a guy in the TA last night and what he was doing was using troops to bomb he would find a place that he wanted to put the troops then drop 1 to 3 troops fly away from them and drop the rest. Now he would then land pick up the fighter or bomber he wanted and went back out and hit the troops. I asked him why and he gave me the same reason that you are talking about. And the funny thing is he used the DT's more than the bombs because the Bombs have a rectical or crosshairs if you would but the DT dosent so you have to aim the DT's more that just fly over and put the rectical on the troops and drop the bomb.

Let me know what ya think of this? It might help ya out a little. pluse the troops is a smaller target and you have to get better to put the bomb or DT right on the troop.

Well for one there smaller so you have to be more percise on the drop. 2 he says that when he hits the buildings that he cant see where he hit. so when he hits the troops it make a big hole in the ground. and he can see it much better.
