Has it been removed? If so, Why?

Cheers,

That is sad, IMO. Was a revealing thread about who's who in AH.

Again, I'm angry when anyone decides what I am able to read an not.

Being nasty stuff, I can't see why it has been removed, at least as a whole thread.

I usually believed that we (in general) were a bunch of rather mature individuals (with the logical exceptions). Maybe I have to change my mind.

I would understand closing the thread, but the censorship thing drives me mad. Who is afraid anyone reading that thread? Why?

Maybe the thread degenerated wildly (overnight in Euroland, couldn't track it) but the subject of the thread were the reasons that forced a guy to leave the game. He was not the average guy leaving. So the thread was one of the most illustrative of the character and manners of a lot of guys here.

Damn, I HATE censors. If I'm given good enough reasons as to understand censorship was the only measure available, I only feel disgusted as to that need arises. If I am not given any reason, I just anger.

Sorry but I had to vent.

I think somebody posted a lewd picture in the thread, so it had to be deleted.

Can't that picture be deleted alone?

Don't know.

It was simply locked yesterday afternoon US time and stayed that way. Disappeared this morning.

IMHO, we didn't lose much; I saw nothing really new in there.

It got really personal, and upon reflection I think I might have removed it, too. There was a lot of extremely personal material about a customer, and when you think about it it probably was a good idea from a business sense to get it off here.

I was one of the parties guilty of dragging it on and have no problem with it being gone.

I read the thread when it first started but skipped over it on later purusals due to an extreme lack of interest on my part.

No regrets I assure you.

Hopefully that whole situation will diffuse into the background noise of the universe.

The thread should have died before it was even posted.

We aren't missing anything at all.

After giving another thought, I think I agree with you. I still hate censorship, but that kinda fills what is a reasonable cause for a thread to be removed.

Thks for explanations.

Cheers,
