First try to delete the Cache folder and let the game rebuild it. Might be a corrupt file there.

Then, from your dxdiag:

DirectX Files Tab: The file qasf.dll is an old version, which could cause problems. You should reinstall DirectX to get the latest version.

Also, that integrated Graphics Controller could cause you trouble. Set the Maximum tex size to 256, and i think the "hardware vertex processing" should be unchecked.

Your computer doesnt have a graphics card, its using a integrated graphics chip. They are always weak in performance (compared to a card) and will cost you system memory and CPU speed.

It will always cause problems running aces high, even with low video settings.

You can try to look for driver updates at http://www.intel.com.

When you uninstalled the game, did you manually remove the game folder after uninstall? (The wizard leaves the settings etc folders untouched). Try to make a clean install (with default settings at first) and go for the lowest graphic settings possible (128 texture size). See if that works.

If your PC powers down and reboots, it is possible you have some hardware problems.  Either overheating or a weak power supply.

AH and other games will push your video card and processor hard.  This can cause overheating that could cause a restart.  You can open the case and look for excess buildup of dust on the fins of the heat sinks.  These can be blown out with compressed air.

The other hardware problem could be a failing power supply.  If this is the case, it should be replace or it could cause other damage to the PC.

If you HAVE one, id say stick it in, install it and see if that works better. Id bet that yes.

I had an even older Intel graphics controller on my Dell & it played AHII but my frame rates were in the toilet; single digits most of the time. The game not loading at all would cause me to suspect A: a corrupted download or B: corrupted drivers or C: a conflict with some other software/bloatware/spyware etc.

This is what I would do; I would do a spyware scan & an antivirus scan, defrag my hard drive, then I would make certain I had a clean install of AHII, you know, be sure the antivirus & firewalls & all that are shut down & get the latest DX-9 version.

Then if all that fails, e-mail Skuzzy (he's very helpful) or do a fresh install of windows & go from there.

I can only assume you do not have PCI Xpress & want the best bang for the buck so here:

 eVGA 6600 AGP

The best you'll do for under a $100 I believe
