Can one areana be trinity.  It has the best TT!  I've waited a month for it....now another month.

Would it be possible to make another areana for GVs where there are no planes.... in the near future?

GV arena is a great idea.

The historical arenas seem to call even louder for some early war armour, M-4 Shermans, M-3 Lee, Panzer IIV, Matilda Mark II, etc.

I know HT is focusing on ToD, but I can always wish...

I don't htink it would be too hard.  Set up a rotion of TT maps and disable planes.  With the new arenas the small population of dedicated GVers was spread out even thinner.  Could we get a GVing arena?         Wat do u think hitech..Skuzzy?

I donīt think an ADDITIONAL arena is a good thing. It would lower the numbers further on each arena. And while I used to spend about half of my time in GVīs, in  a sterile "GV only" arena  devoid of planes & "interaction" with them lacks any appeal to me.

I would think that the early war arena might be decent to have all gv's enabled.  It would cut down on the dive bombing bomber formations...

What use is t34 on t34 action anyway?

That's a Great Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A permanent "Blood and Guts" Arena, with a map that only has Tank Town Island, and a Fighter Town Island.  Seperated by 8 sectors of water.  With Disabled Goons & M3's, so you can still get supplies with the Jeeps for the tanks.

Great Idea 68slayr

I'd like to see a GV map with multiple spawns to launch an attack along with defensive positions.

Some neat features:

1) If you capture a supply dump you can spawn ahead.

2) How about being able to cut lines of communication?

3)  Lets make roads important.  Cutting supply lines, fast movement of GV's

4) Instead of camping spawns, lets capture them.  Then use them to push the attack forward.

5) Branching spawns.  That way you carry an attack forward or defend one point at a time.

I agree with Slayr - a GV arena would be GREAT!  -especially for those of us that don't get that big of a thrill flying....and/or are no good at it - or are afraid of heights....

On second thought, this is primarily an aircraft/flying game.  HiTech has stated as such and I don't think I'll change his mind.

Also, I love to fly.  GV battles can make great fun for any jabo that I'm flying.  I've actully argued that AH II should expand the ground game and draw in more players so us pilots can have more targets.

We just need more armour, and a usefull man on the ground not  a maniquin.

don't need a GV arena, just set up some of the maps with areas for GV to work in. GV's and aircraft need to work togather like real life.

Could be very cool.  Given time to add new models and some of the interesting ideas mentioned above, I could see it working while drawing in a whole new component to the subscriber base.

Once this change is tweaked over and CT is out, maybe we'll see some new surprises.

It's all a bit new and disconcerting at first, but lets see how things play out.

At the very least, HTC appears committed to keeping this game fresh.  Gotta applaud that...
