I haven't laughed this much in over a year.  I keep coming back to the board today and reading the posts and just cracking up, and believe me I needed to do some serious laughing.

I'm reminded of my son the first time we took him clothes shopping where he'd have to try things on.  He was probably 3.  He threw an absolute fit.  No matter how you tried to explain it to him, the idea of changing wasn't going to work

I remember how embarrased my wife and I were when someone from the store asked us to leave because he wouldn't quit yelling and screaming.

The boards seem that way today and it makes me laugh :)

Feel free to stir things up anytime.

the lala tards can fly their planes all they want. Just now they are only competing against planes that are competative with them.

I asked in one of the other threads what all the "this is great crowd, wtg HTC" ...."quit whining"...."comedy gold"crowd liked about it so much.  I havent seen a response to it yet...why do you like it?  we have all heard why people dont like it...and what the people who like it got to say to them "quit and give me your joystick"...so please, enlighten.

point is, everyone is entitled to their opinion...some like it, some dont...but at least instead of just bashing those whose opinion dont agree with yours, state why you feel the way about it that you do.

Ya everyone has a right to their opinion, but most of these whining, crying, screaming, pouting, children havn't giving the game a chance to settle down! HT has said they are going to change the perk values, and arena limits once things settle down, so STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT ! HT has said they are working on a cross arena comunications setup so big squads can hook up, so STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT !!

Jeez ! Just give it a chance ! There were a ton of people that hated AH2 when it came out for all kinds of reasons, but most got fixed, or people adapted. Its just a game folks !

lol guppy, great story.

I have only played in the early arena so far and I see no need to move to the others as of yet.  while I enjoy the 109K  the very thought of the LaHOers keeps me away.

in the early set the Ju88 is the monster that it was, the 202 is very competetive as are the F4F-4, 109E and the P40E.

if I could change one thing it would be to take 190A5 out of the arena and place it in the mid war section where it truly belongs.

Well I for one love having the chance to fly the La5 without having to worry about 190D9's, Ponys & tempests chasing me down.

Mid war arena suits me fine as long as there are a few people in there.
If there is less than 10 in midwar I just head over to early war & play there.

Either way is fun, different, challenging, and a whole new MA to learn.
(which is why so many people are so unhappy)

Either their flying style depended on picking people lower, & slower, or they can't adapt. HTC & AH is all about change, change happens in jumps, fits & starts. When it happens its go back & learn again, or walk away.

Whining, complaining, and throwing temper tantrums won't change it.

Let things settle down, HT will balance and life will go on. Then decide if you can live here or not.

Ghost actually makes a pretty good point here. Just like the viewshake for guns, just like the FM changes, just like AH1.99beta, just like ENY, etc etc... whenever there's a change, it's normally pretty substantial, and the whines tend to be epic, because it is new, and someone else likes it, which is more infuriating for the guys who wanted the situation to remain unchanged.

I have to admit, it makes the BBS a lot more fun to read.

I agree with hubs and Ghosth.

I think the 'bashing' of those who don't agree (and this is certainly not comprehensive in any way) is not so much with the fact of differing opinions, but with the overreactions.

Screeching, whining, insult, demands and threats do NOT fall in the category of 'discussion'.  Armchair toughguys berating HTC, and those who disagree with them, are not looking for discussion...just chest-thumping.

There is clearly a minority who are capable of disagreement, and even disappointment, without getting nasty about it with each other.

We have to filter out the babies from both sides of the discussion in order to actually talk about the changes and their impacts.

Like I say, I put a lot squarely in the laps of those who do not appear able to agree to disagree.  Calling HTC, HiTech, Pyro, Skuzz or each other names just begs one to dismiss the poster as just another member of the Lollipop Squad.
