Sadly  this gentleman has passed away.

A fighter pilot a  BBC presenter a Author among other things he will be missed.

i remember growing up with this gentleman on tv only  a few months ago did i find out he flew spitfires.

good bless all our older vetrens they are gtting fewer and fewer
