lots of people complained and all, but AH has become a lot more fun, i have to say, it's definitely been a change for the better, can't wait till we fill these ones up and have to create some more (WW1 hint ;) :D )

no one wants to fight unless they have numbers advantage, and when i get on 30 people in a arena  is not fun  its  crap

especialy when on side  has 20 of them players  and  are hording.

2 arenas might work 3 dont  not  when its european time  but then again  what do hiteck care as long as the americans are happy

That's been a passing thought in my mind as well. We have a U.K. squad member, and I've wondered if there really can be anything done at this point for you guys, being that HT is staying with this format. Kinda boring playing in a ghost town.:(

Being a USA-Eastern time zone morning player I was initially concerned about finding enough "action". I was in the EW at the same time Rogerdee was and had no difficulty finding sparring partners to duke it out with.

A bit later I visted LW and found almost 100 there, mixing it up with the usual diversity one would have found in the MA a week ago.

What's the big deal, really? The new arens affords the most diversity to the most players. Want some good match-up dogfights? Go to EW & MW. Want the flavor of the old MA? Go to LW.

I applaud the changes and options we now have.

It's so-so for me, The two best arenas don't have enough in there to have the fun it should have. Most still flock to the LW arena where they can fly there training wheel planes. Wish they didn't open a 2nd arena when one fills up, would force others to try the more challenging arenas. In time those that are afraid of the good fights may learn to like it.

Me too.  Cant wait till we get more than 50 people in the early war areno so I can find a fight somewhere.

Personally I find the changes 100% (or damm close to it) better. Not only is reducing the raw #'s but also (at least in the early war arena) improving overall game play drastically. Yes you will still get some of the horde/landgrab mentality but overall the quality of action is much better.

The plane set is pretty good (would like to see the deebcane2c gone) and the lack of heavy bombers (unperked) really brings the value of attack planes back.

S!

i agree mr biggs.  bringing back the old ma where all planes are enabled makes the change bearable.  bringing back large maps in the rotation would be even better.  ty ht and crew.    S!

The late war is practically the MA with smaller server numbers.  I quite enjoy the early war arena, great fights until you get ganged, but that's the game.

Lets see now....New format....half sized hordes, 200 instead of 400 players in one place.  Yeah that makes sense.    Old format, same thing but a bit more spread out.   All the original problems are still there, just on a smaller scale.   What fun..................

so cage.... making the problems smaller is not acceptable to you?

You want the problems to be huge again with no opportunity to fly 3/4 or more of the planeset in a comparitively fair environment?

The scale is relative, large problems (for some) with old style or smaller problems (for some). I don't see the difference since you still have hordes, vulching, bnz, cherry picking, and whining on 200. I tried all 3 arenas and find EW the best for furballing but still miss the 500 players in one arena setting...just my preference.

If we have em then I don't see em... but then.... I don't fly LW where most of the people who do that like to go....  seems a success if you can get all the griefers or, most of em, into one arena.

I haven't been able to get into the LW1 (no sense going into 2 since there were only 24 people in there) so I'm really basing those experiences on EW and MW but much more so in MW.

Anyone that knows me knows I was never a griefer but I never had a problem finding a good fight in the old MA. I used to go to a base where no one was and soon after I would get there someone would come up. I'd get down low and wait for him to get some speed up and have a nice fight, eventually more people would come and the fight became not so much fun so I'd go somewhere else.

I understand your points Laz but it seems many posters are failing to take a look at it from the other side. I am loving the calls of whiners and crybabies, reminds me of when the furballers were crying about bombers dropping the FH's  lol
