F4U-4 in MWA
« on: September 18, 2006, 12:48:42 PM »
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet (didn't see anything in search), but I was flying an F4U-4 in MWA last night and getting yelled at because apparently the -4 is a 1944 bird...

If so I suppose it should be removed from the MWA.

If this makes you mad, sorry.

edit: it appears that the -4 was first produced in September 1944 with in-service dates in October 44.

further edit:  Apparently it's already been disabled in MW. Please ignore this post.

What I'd like to see is the F4U-1A added to Mid War, even if it's with a light perk.

That, and I want a 1A period.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
