Primanti's of Pittsburgh

They actually combined fries, coleslaw, steach and a fried egg underneath one roof. I often look at photos of stuff like this early in the morning, as sort of a breakfast for my eyes.

Ate there about a month ago, wasn't real impressed with the sandwhich.  I prefer my slaw and fries on the side.

I like putting potato chips on my submarine sandwitches. Not regualr sandwitches tho, gotta be on the side.

Jeesuz fluff'n Christ, I make a thread about some crappy novelty food that I can't even come near because my cholesterol is through the roof and you make a political statement out of it....

Much of the world has yet to discover eating utensils, while others are so culturally advanced that they've obstained from actually cooking their food before shoveling it down.

You came to this thread based on the title. If you think this is crap, which it may be, post a sammich you do like, and for Pete's sake, take it easy, ok? :)

Last gubernatorial election here in PA, there was a republican challenger from Pittsburgh.  You may or may not know this, but Ed Rendell was the biggest ****up since FDR.  Everything he touched turned to ****.  He was King Sadim (midas backwards).

Anyway, the republican challenger was doing really well, he had a majority of public opinion and was looking to win.  But then he ****ed up, he secularized the state.

In one interview in Pittsburgh, he stated, "By the way, I'd take a primanti's sandwich over a Cheesesteak anyday."  Now, anyone who is alive would know that cheesesteaks are better.  Leagues better.  Even the worst cheesesteak I've ever had has been better then the best primanti I've ever had.

But this handsomehunk decides to turn the election into a Pitt vs. Philly election.  Not only did he lose most republican votes from eastern PA, but he didn't gain the democratic votes from western PA.


Now PA is half-****ed because of that simple 20 syllable sentence.

While I'm unsure what would have happened, I'm absolutely sure that we're still worse off.  Rendell broke his two biggest promises that got him elected.  He promised to keep minimum wage where it was, and he promised to lower property taxes.

Guess what has happened since he got elected...
