Allow me to clarify yet again. I wasnt upset about you saying I flew american planes. I love the 40, and the 38. I have loved them ever since I got my first book on world war two. I just turn into I giant aerial target in a 38, and im only just learning to kill stuff in a 40.
I got upset because you said, and I quote "You only fly 109s because you think its cool". THAT is what pissed me off. I LOVE the 109. Its such a sinister, evil aircraft, and that calls to me. I long to share those same sinister emotions with such a beautiful aircraft. I suck at it, and that hurts deep down, but I so want to... as retarded as it sounds, become one with that aircraft. My flying the P-40 is a stop-gap, a way for me to practice ACM, and learn to actually fight. But once we get back into the LWA, im going to try my hand at the G-14 again. Its the fact that you questioned my motivations. I am a 109 geek. I have about 96 pictures of 109s I cycle through as desktop wallpapers, I have all the tech documents I have found, I have cockpit layouts in both english and german, I have a model (This is the most retarded thing about me) I have a model 109E by my computer I say good morning to every morning in the hopes it will bring me good hunting. I just like more than one aircraft, but life will become so much easier, if we get the He-111. Because another of those little annoying things about me is I am obsessed with uniformity. If I fly an american bomber, I am going to fly an american fighter, whether I like it or not. Once we get the He-111 though, I can fly the 109 again, and stick to all german planes with no remorse, and simply come back to my B-17 every now and then.
So yeah, those are just some of my obsessive-compulsive motivations.
