so hitech needs to change the sensitivity, so that one team needs more than say, 15 more (random number) people than the next largest team before it kicks in- that way a the natural fluctuation of numbers that previously got lost in the sea, dont have an effect on peoples choices, while any real problems are the fault of players themselves.

Well, yeah, that's what the ENY limit is there for- to tell you to quit being a tool and move to the underdog side.

Yes,  sadly too many folks seem to think the other way however as every arena I went into tonite had one country with exceedingly high numbers and said crowd attacking undefended bases.  In midwar tonite on my first flight I upped as there were baduns coming in.  109A5 tried to vulch me and missed, just about lost control of his plane, tried to turn with my 38G and died.  The 38J above him left, and the 110 that followed passed me over too as he attacked the base.  I then killed him.  I stayed up figuring they might return.  No such luck.  They moved to another part of the map undefended.  Was sad really.

Then of course came the all too glorious capture of a base message on the bottom of the screen.  Naturally no one was defending it at the time.

I just don't get it.  How can that possibly be fun?

I agree that NMY needs a realistic looking at.  But have been caught a couple of times already with switching sides to help equalize then become trapped when the numbers shift.  Twice was stuck with a NMY so high that was left with only buffs.

Not being able to change back a couple of hours later, only thing left was to shutdown bases with buffs. What other mission is there for them?

Until things get adjusted or "tweaked", would be nice to at least lift the changing side time restriction of make it somewhat very reasonable.

AKKaz, I think you're seeing the "sloshing water" effect. The problem is, that the eny system, and the values assigned to individual planes, was designed for an average MA population of 300-700. The problem is, ENY was'nt made to make a person jump sides. It was made to restrict the higher end aircraft, and if you guys can remember in the old MA, It rarely locked out the entire planeset. It forced you into MW and EW rides, but did'nt make it so the only thing you could up was a C-47. I'd never seen it to where you had to do more than give up some of the uber-late war rides. The thing is, though, they could count on so many people in the MA at one time(or, a certain % of players). However, the ENY values for the individual planes are now out of whack. They might have to adjust the ENY values in the hangar...But this won't prevent the problem of Too many people flying for 1 country, and not the other 2. People jumping back and forth are going to find out, that if too many jump the fence, It just transfers the problem to another country. I figure it's gonna take some time to try to sort this out, (If there is an acceptable solution.)

:lol All the more reason to switch countries. :)

Yeah, the balancing situation could use a bit of tweaking, but we'll get there at some point. I'm sure those guys in Grapevine are working on that situation as well. At least I hope they are. Otherwise, you'd  better warm up those Vals. ;)

Yep.

Asked the boys if they were OK with it and then switched to shoot at them :). Was better 2 vs 2 then 4 vs 1......

theres alot of time were the EWA and MWA just get screwed, just now nishops won the reset, comes bakc on there was 8 people in the room(includeing all countrys), only room that doesnt have this prob is the LWA..... aint that a kick in the head:lol . Its like the rooms are time sensative, i heard the euro guys are getting the raw deal with that one. When it comes to the eny its just crazy, couldnt get any fighters the other day, nothin at all, i dont even think the spit 1 was open. The env could still work in the LWA but the EWA it just makes life hard, its not like f4u1d is locked..fine f4u1, but when im in a p40b there aint no where to go.
