Besides the lack of ram you need to run the 61.77  video drivers the one your running now is for newer cards

your correct Schutt ,,, he has 256 availiable for windows . and theres an additional amount of ram that the gpu is using . (64 or 128 stick hiding in there id guess)

its still pritty low memory wise for gaming .

Schutt, my motherboard is a Biostar M7N CG 400
it is either XP hiding DX or DX has gone belly up on me, i have Ghost Recon on my comp, it worked then i tried playing it and i get the same popup as AH, and i installed another game, and it says...
"This program requires Direct X 9 levle driver.  Openwindow failed."
then i get "the popup"

I kno NHawk, i paid for 1 copy of XP alredy, i did my part to support MS :t .... **cough cough** :D

But im gonna try Wardog's Link and see if that works, if not my friend has a... um... copy.... yeh copy... :t...  of Direct X

ok ill try the 61.77 drivers first, the download isnt as big (12MB - 32MB) as DX9c and i hate waiting

well problem fixed, i downloaded the 61.77 drivers and it works, the drivers that were on the comp were older than the 61.77, they didnt actually support DX9, only 8.1  lol
thnx 4 everything, guess i wont have to do anymore..... well... n/m...  lol

Just got off of AH, played perfectly fine, FPS stayed round 25, considering AH only has 80-100 Mb of ram to play w/
