Well we have new arena!
Did they ask what for our input? NO
Did they change the ENY system? YES

Even if its the same, it changed due to limited numbers.

When asked if the squad size can be increased from the 32 members, they max number HTC thinks a squad should be, to a larger number, for the real life that some squads are over 60 players. So we can use the squad text in all arenas and text ever member of the squad.

They see no reason to make squads bigger.
( I ask in an E-Mail and that was thier reply)

They put window dressing on the fact they were going with lower player numbers in each arena.

After all the had the DA and the MA before. They could of just limited the numbers and use MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4,and the DA. This change would have not changed the ENY system, nor limited aircraft or changed the perk numbers or cost value.

With the limit of 250, how can you have even numbers with 3 sides playing.

250/3=83.333333

That is some math.

I have to admit I'd like to see the arena caps go up a bit.

300 is a nice round number and not that far from 250.

I would also like to see the ENY limiter turned off in EWA. It simply does not have a broad planeset that is able to handle it.

Last night Rooks and Knights were slugging it out over at A39 and P36 and its attached CV (spawns right at P36). The Rook and Knight numbers were closely matched during the night but the Bishops barely had anybody one.

The upshot is that at one point the ENY limiter went up to 31 for the Rooks. This closed the whole planeset except for:

- B5N2
- D3A1
- JU87
- JU88

I convinced two squaddies to come over and try EWA out. They ended up sitting on the ground for around 15 minutes until the ENY limiter dropped to the point where they could fly Hurricane Is.

And before you sway switch sides .. fine if you like doing that go ahead .. however, I like flying with people I know and the battle there between the Knights and Rooks was pretty good and well fought (until we put down their CV) so it was not an issue of what people call hording or milk running. It was simply the issue that with low numbers the percentage based ENY limiter can kick in very hard over much small number gap. Which is not as large a problem in the LWA since you have a much broader planeset to choose from when things start to get turned off.
