X45 power fluctuating?
« on: September 20, 2006, 07:33:13 PM »
Does anyone know what could be causing this. Here is my problem. I have

2 X45's and this happens to both of them so I am guessing it's my computer.

Whenever I touch the cables from the stick to the throttle OR the USB cable to the computer, the lights on my Throttle flicker and there seems to be a temporary loss of power. Very short but just long enough to knock off auto-pilot or to really screw up an engagement. I have checked the cables they seem fine, no cuts or anything. I have tried all 5 of my usb ports seems to happen with all of them. I thought maybe Power supply (I have a 500 watt PSU)so I unplugged everything Printer, sound, mouse, and it still does it.

Thanks, all I can think is I am having a power supply problem or maybe my controls have just bit the dust had them for awhile. Fatsacks.
