The AH map seems like pong compared to even good old BF1942. When a team mate needs help or spots the bad guys, s/he hits a button and like magic the map updates reflecting same.
Various AH specific sit-reps could apply so that looking at the bases actually tells you something rather than the red and green pong bars, and saves the time of looking up each specific field status.
It'd be real nice to know whats up just by looking at the map, reading through the text buffer, or asking.. are, well, unreliable and tedious. One could instantly see where the squaddies are, if they need help, who needs what.
Also what about the ability to rescue a downed dude in a PT boat or Jeep?
