The Ryder Cup

American Ryder Cup Team.

You Came, You Saw, You Got Dicked...Again.

18.5 - 9.5 but what fantastic games, MacGinley handing JJ Henry his ball at the last, Casey's hole in one to close the game out on Saturday in the 4 somes (I think), the emotions going through Clarke on the 16th, and the Speech by Tom Lehman at the closing Ceremony was awesome.

What a fantastic few days of Golf it has been, this will not only create Golfers in the Future for Europe (More investment, better facilities, higher profile etc...) it will do the same for America, with you Guys wanting it back more than ever, 3 times on the trot now so you haven't held the cup for 6 years, more investment, ( I don't think Golf in the US can get a higher profile at the moment ) more players, this sort of thing is only good.

I know I am slightly biased on this issue, but I thought the Crowds were awesome, Yes OK they were biased aswell, but I thought the Irish gave the Americans a damm good load of appreciation, wether they won the hole or scored a 50 ft monster putt, it was appreciated, which is great to see.

Good Luck at Val Halla in 2 Years

The crowd was great this year I agree.  I just wish we could come up with something better to chant than "U-S-A" when you guys have that Oleeee-ole-ole-oleeeeeeee-ooooooleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" soccer hooligan thing the europeans have to go to.

You just can't compete with that.  :(

My only thought is why put Tiger on this team or any of the other high profile guys.  They don't do well in team situations as their history in this type of tournament shows.  They are the best golfers in the world but only in individual settings.

If the big names don't play, there will be no TV audience.  Most tournaments are driven by TV.

Yes there is that, there is alot of Football Chants coming in, but I can assure you I am not a Hooligan, and neither were any of the People there, you could say the same thing about those American Fans that abused Monty several years back, you will NEVER see anything like that in Europe.

I have to ask, why did they do so badly in the Singles then? That was the highest winning Margin from a European Team in the Singles.

8 Years ago the USA came back from the same margin, or more not sure, to hammer us.

To leave out the Top ranking Players in the World is to Diminish the Ryder Cup, which is one of the Greatest WORLD Sporting Events, watched by Billions of People around the Globe.

Just MHO
