I've began working on my Private Pilots Certificate. I acutally started before the changes.......I wasn't playing alot before the changes. I stil log on...find myself bored after a few minutes. I goof with the squaddies I have...Fly into odds I know I cant win...rinse repeat logoff. If it wasn't for my squaddies , I would cancel my sub. Not just because I am finding it boring now , cause I was getting tired of the old MA as well. But The squaddies keep my here more than anything. And , a few nice people I have met and enjoy getting beat my. :lol

I'm having WAY more fun in RL flying than I have here.

I managed to get in 3 hours this afternoon.

30 odd people in EW arena, rooks down to about 4 fields.  Me and two squaddies took 4 fields from a desperate situation we gave rooks hope.

One of these base takes didnt go to plan some guy flew over from a diff base and stirred up 2 spit'5s and a p40 with buffs to kill CV.

upped from the CV  in a F4F.  one at a time they come towards me hoing first pass them dying on second turn.  land my 3 kills in the to be feared f4f.   Ju 88's end up sinking the cv.   get an lvt2 and 4 away with the town previously smashed by 8 inch.   with 5 mins to spare on the town popping and a 109    4k from the map room we captured the base.  I nailed the 109 with my MG on lvt.

Some ppl been on here saying AH is dead   I don't think so just re-incarnated.   Long as the EW and MW arenas are populated dogfights with old school planes are more fun and base captures mean more because they are harder to accomplish.

Hey Hajo :)

After using a damn hoopety twist stick to participate in the last scenario (two week trial) I found  I had the "urge" again.   However one visit to the (now defunct) "MA" made that go away faster than a "johnson" would have after being smacked by a large spoon.

In other "wErDs" -  ol' Charon there hit the nail on the proverbial head.

Last spring my flying started to taper off because I got a '74 Can-Am MX-1 175 to race Vintage motocross and I began my 2nd (or is it 3rd or 4th?) motorcycle racing career. Since then I have "aquired" another Can-Am a '77 MX-3 250, and two Yamaha's a '69 AT1 125 and a '79 YZ250. Soooo...now that I have more bikes than I can afford, I ready to race. :)

Now, all I have to do is figure out how I'm gonna haul all the bikes and spares to the races...

Let me get this straight ... you and 2 other guys took 4 bases ?

to tell you the truth, my time spent in AH has about cut in half of what it used to be.  It has made me realize that I need to get out of the south and back to Buffalo!!!!!
