Some things to make the game harder.
« on: September 25, 2006, 07:06:57 PM »
I was thinking this game is starting to get pretty easy. Once you learn the game it's easy and you can kill most anyone. Here are a few things to make the game harder:

Turn the wind on. This would make it a lot more relistic.

Have clowdy days or overcast skys. more relalism.

Put rain in the game. Just some quick showers every now and then.

These are just a couple I can think of. But really it would be nice to make the game a little more challenging.

How about making it possible for the prop to overrun? overheat at 100% power? damage that degrades the planes performance? Wind wont do much and rain will only make lesser systems suffer. Not a problem here.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Catfish, we had wind when you were still in training pants. It didn't make the game harder or more realistic. The only thing it accomplished was making level bombing slightly more challenging.

Overlag, you're so full of ****, it's mindboggling.

How bout making it so your mechanic can be hungover and can screw up your engine so it quits just as you enter a battle? Wouldn't that be fun? :D

Things to make the game harder (for fighters):

Shoot all your ammuntion except for 100 rounds (30 for cannons) on the runway before you take off.

Only take 25% fuel.

Load bombs but never drop them, especially if you get into a fight.

Don't use your views.  Only look forward.

Adjust views so you only have blocked views.

Always attack bombers climbing up to them from the rear.

Adjust the gamma correction on your monitor so it is really hard to see anything.  It's just like night, or maybe a hard rain!!

Drink heavily before starting to play and continue drinking while playing.

Shoot other friendly players planes when taking off, so your plane is damaged.

Never fly above 4000 ft agl, unless you are at an enemy field with few or no planes.

Seek out groups of enemy fighters and climb up to them (the 4000 agl limit can be disregarded when climbing to an enemy).

When encountering friendly's, try to talk in a higher annoying pitch and repeately say nonsense so people squelch you to elminate any check six calls.

Fly the highest ENY planes allowed.

Purposely calibrate your stick wrong.

Mix and match... combine various themes of the above to make the game harder.

The above focuses on fighter aircraft.  I am sure person or persons can come up with ways to make bomber flights harder or GV and boat sorties more difficult.

Malta

1. Increase ack lethality by 1000%
2. bring back night time
3. put fuel back down to 25%
4. triple the size of cv fleets

And for added fun

1. deadly sea monster that will actually attack people/bases at random
2. HT will take an RV6 or flying pt boat and haunt you down if you been a bad boy on the BBS
3. Gremlins will inhabit your bomber and slowly take it apart piece by piece
4. On a few selected aircraft, you will have banana peels you can select in the hangar to drop as mines. When an enemy GV hits it, it will roll over upside down.
5. On christmas eve, santa claus will be enabled, with bombs shaped and skinned to look like christmas presents. The reindeer can also drop brown 50kg **** bombs too.
6. A samuari on a horse will be a new gv to use. His weapon is a samuari sword in which he can hack targets to death. (banana peel rule also applies)
7.  Trains for resupplying strat targets will be completely remodeled. Their new name would be called the "Pain Train", where each railroad car would have a quad 20mm cannon mounted on it followed by a flatcar with an fully operational SA-7 on it.
8. As most of you here have sat idle in the tower and watch everything burn on a field while waiting for the hanger to come up, you now have an option to put the fire out faster. For 200 vehicle perks, you can walk out onto the field and urinate on a fire of your choice. This will only take off 15 seconds of rebuild time, so you will have to go as a group to put one item out. Better yet, you can spend 1 perk for a perishable item and have a weenie/marshmallow roast out there. You can NOT give check 6 calls while doing this.
9. spawn camping in a gv at night will be very dangerous. If you sit still and camp for a period of time, the boogeyman will come out and rip your turrent off.
10. Mini areas of the maps will be enabled for some special fun. They will be as follows
---> Land before time (dinos rule that area, but you can strafe/spawn a gv into there. Killing one will give you a  few perks)
---> Pirate/viking area (Ye be settin sail on the high seas to plunder treasure, beer, and sheep [YES SHEEP])
The dinos will excape every now and then and ravage the real part of the MA. The same goes for pirates/viking ships. If you and a group are patient enough, you can all sail a large group of them and attack an enemy airfield viking/pirate style.

Enjoy :D
