With Halloween coming, how about resurrecting the FRANKENPLANE!… The Fisher XP-75GM Eagle. Just like Frankenstein it was built of parts from other bodies… Tailplane of the SBD, Wings of the P40, Landing gear of the F4U.

HiTech should have a Ghost, Goblin, Witch, and the Great Punkin flying around on Halloween night. And if you shoot any of them down you get awarded 1000 Perkies

It was supposed to have exceptional performance and long range. The P-75 failed to meet expectations and was cancelled after roughly a half dozen of them were built.

If you think the P-75 looks ugly, look up stuff like the XP-55. The USAAF focusing so much effort on so many failed designs is partly why actual successful programs like the P-51 were delayed so long.
