Some of you know I've had a problem with exposure value in my photography and have been looking to reslove it for the past almost 3 weeks. Last night I was re-reading the instruction manual and found something called 'parameter' settings for image processing (parameter 1 and parameter 2 each have three 'sets' of sub-settings, with up to 4 selections in settings).
By default parameter 1 is used. It is set to increase the contrast, saturation and sharpness by +1 (each)
So last night I re-set the parameter setting to the other set of neutral settings and that has made all the difference. These pics are now turning out very natural looking; I haven't even had to photoshop these (except to resize for the bbs)
Well that's one big hurdle overcome.
Shots from today are 'test' shots and perhaps not very interesting (except for comparitive value from earlier)

You may recall I had problems shooting from shady areas into well sun lite areas. I walked over the Yonge St. (a couple blocks north of Bloor St.) shooting south toward the lake. With this neutral setting now in effect, the pics are coming out fine.
