In my home town this story is repeated in the Police Accademy for all recruits to learn from. Some folks are extremely, shall we say motivated, to change their lives and will go to extremes to do so.

This individual called the Police Department direct. This WAS in the time before universal 911 usage. He stated he was unhappy being a man and no longer wanted to remain so. He told the dispatcher that he had a knife and would do the deed himself if she wouldn't get him some help. Now this particular night (about 2:00 AM, why is it ALWAYS the dark hours for freaky folks to pop up???) was a long one for the intrepid dispatcher. She was tired and a bit fed up with dealing with strange people ragging on her. Did I mention it was a full moon??

When this individual said if he didn't get a doctor to remove his noodle for him he would do so with the kitchen knife himself. After listening to this for several minutes the dispatcher told him, to just do it, cut it off if he didn't want to be a man and get it over with. He said OK and hung up.

About 15 minutes later the dispatcher got a call from the same person who said he was bleeding profusely and needed first aid. She dispatched a Police Officer to check out the guy as the Firemen didn't like responding to this type of person alone. The Officer got there and sure enough the guy was in fact bleeding. The medics were dispatched and responded. When they got there this twit told them his tale of woe. When they said no way, he pulled down his shorts and showed them, yes way! That started the bleeding again but they were able to stabilize then get him / her transported to the hospital for suturing. he had already disposed of the unwanted tissue in a dumpster. It was not an option to put it back.

As far as anyone knows he / she moved out of the area and was never seen there again. Dispatchers were later cautioned about what they say to people who call in with freaky situations.

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Stupid story.
Ok i dont remember the names.

In miami a few years ago two armed men broke into a house. The house was owned by a big anti-gun lady and her husband. Her husband goes out and starts to wrestle the men to the ground. She runs over and grabs the .22 ruger from the drawer and afraid of shooting her husband shoots over their heads. one of htem fires at her and wounds her. THen she empties the gun into him. THe other guy shoots her husband in the leg 3 times and then goes to her. She has no bullets so he puts his gun too her head and gets the keys to her car. He has to do this cuz the getaway car ran off when he heard the gun fire. So the man go in the car and couldnt raise the garage door. So he guns it right through the door. ONly to see that his fellow robber whos wounded has crawled out in front of the garage door. He runs him over and stops. He stops and is shot by the ladies husband wit the .22. He guns it agains and is shot 3 more times and runs off the road about a mile down the road. Both men are captured and are serving 20 yr. for the wounded man and 35 for the other. The reason for this discrepancy was that the man driving was nailed with a 3rd count of attempted manslaugter running over his fellow in addition to the two counts of attempted manslaugter on the wife and husband. Now the wife is a bigtime Gun-Rights advocate.

Just felt like sharing that.
