for weeding out  90% of the 10% who could actually show some skill in the MA (err LW)  by splitting the arenas...my first real foray into the late war was in a zeke last night...lets just say the talent was first rate :P..

seriously the new arenas are sweet..u can work on acm's in EW and than go join the horde (or be horded) and tard it up just for fun in the LW...

Im lovin it so far :)

I dunno, I tried to find a fight, but only a bunch of steam rolling lemmings running over undefended fields.

I started to pray for a some real action:

Our game designer
who art in Grapevine
hallowed be thy name
Thy multiple arenas come
Thy will be done, in the LW as in the EW (and MW, too)
Give us today, a decent fight
Forgive us our Ch 200 transgressions
As we forgive those who vulch and HO us
Lead us not into boredom
But deliver us from the potatods
For thine is the game, the coad, and the glory
Amen

Seriously.  Please.  Stop.  The hordes.

because in the early war, you find gents who want to fight. i spent 2 hours in there today with oddcaf, in what ended up in a huge furball, where people stayed out of each others fights, and let each other rtb to rearm, it was great. that talent and class, and the great fights we had all day is what jax is talking about.

i'm loving the change. i don't think i'll be visiting the LW very frequently from now on, EW is where it's at. still a few idiots and land grabbers with big mouths, but hey, what can you do?

lots of people didnt like the change i know, but it's made AH into what i always wanted it to be for me (granted, i dont fly in the LW and haven't had problems trying to squeeze in). i think it's great :)

i remember oddcaf from a few years ago.... a great guy :aok

i generally fly midwar planes, but i also want to fly with numbers....so my only option is LW so i dont really see any benifits because its basically MA with a smaller cap.

ya i agree. i've flown in the lw, and it seems similar to the original MA, only with a few less people.  i think the "less people" part is good, as it gives the community more time to "meet" others.

that said, the other arena's have been the very fun for me in a different way.  the quality of fights there are very good and generally a blast.
