I came in Sat morning at 6am to do my 12 hour shift.  8 hours into it I get a call from the guy that's supposed to relieve me.  He's throwing up and can't make it in.  Fine, ok, more overtime for me.  Then HIS relief calls me early this morning and says he can't be in until noon today.  So, that means my shift will be from 6am Saturday to noon Sunday.  36 hours.  34 of which is overtime.  And I am so high on coffee right now I am seeing double.  Cha-ching!!

It's better being tired than wired.. caffein doesn't actually help a person to perform, on the contrary :)

I only live about a mile from work.  I was on my 5th wind by that time so it was no problem getting home.  Slept for 9 hours, thought I'd sleep longer.

ugh ive had that feeling...... not quite for 40 hours but say a day... my dad and I were going to mammoth mountain and I couldn't sleep the night before, in the car, or for 3 hours after we got there.

i hope you didn't sleep through the Texan's win, could be a while before u get to see something like that again...nah they have two games left against the Titans nee Oilers (but they're still vigins i hear) - (i wonder which team Earl Campbell roots for?)
