I'm just wondering if there was any possibility to resupply yourself 'say...in an osti after youre turret's been one ping killed.

Can gv's have a second player? then buddy can 'bail' and go get a jeep or something while you wait.

Or. bail out of the thing yourself, give the keys to the valet and bring a jeep yourself.  But you'd probably get back just to see the gv up on blocks with the hubcaps stolen.

I just hate driving for miles, then self killing my turret when a shell hits a tree leaf.

I've brought thi9s up before...but in all seriousness...

when you're defending a base in osti, or (m16)and get turret taken out..I think that re=arm pad should also be a repair pad.

I thought about this too, and in my opinion.

Re-arm pad should just be a re-arm pad.

But....  It would be cool if there was a repair pad inside each fighter hanger, and vehicle hanger. Then again, how long would you have to wait for a windshield to be replaced, or flap repaired ect.?  Also, when your turret is down, is that the actual turret, or crew manning it? I can't imagine a turret being repaced in 30 seconds.

i cant imagine a panzer being reloaded in a click of the supply button either... but it happens.. putting 80 rounds in a tank would take just a tad longer i think

Rearm pads are just to re-arm the plane, and refuel it.  Even simple repairs can take ours for both aircraft and vehicles.  Turret and gun replair is not simple, not even in a full decked out machine shop.

I do think, you should be able to rearm your GV, but not repair it.  It is bad enough that vehicle supplies can intantly repair a damaged tiger in seconds, we do not need osti's sitting a rearm pad making them invulnerable to gun fire.

I can fix my turret, engine and both tracks as well as rearm now with a click of the button... why not have a repair pad that takes a bit?

The only exploit would be a flak sitting on the pad...

that's my thought....repair by clicking an icon in the upper left.....

by comparison...sitting on a re-arm pad for 30 sec is hours.

And repairs for gv's only.

I remember someone asked this before, the best think to do is roll onto the runway and press "End Sortie". Come on, you want to spend 1 minute on a "Repair Pad" when you could just tower out and re-spawn?

Time comparison:
Land-Repair Pad-Takeoff - 3 minutes

Land-End Sortie-Takeoff - 1 minute

WOW! You just saved 2 minutes in which you can help your team-mates defend your bases!

i think that if your gv is damaged/out of ammo  and you click the supply button a 30 second repair/rearm time should be alotted .. i was chasing AApache and took out his turret. he was good as dead.. he click the supply 2 seconds later i was dead .. something needs to be done about it.. its unfair to unrealistic for that to happen ..
