Don't know if anyone plays this, but it is a fairly neat little WW2 ship game (mostly fictional).

Addy is http://www.navyfield.com .

Me and shane both play on the Missouri server, if y'all want to check it out. I go by "urchinah" over there, but I'm not on a whole ton right now.

It is fairly interesting.  Its more like a MMORPG than AH is, your crew has a lot more to do with how good you are then your skill level does.

But if you feel like giving it a go, look me up and I'll try to help you get started.

Completely free or semi-free? Last I heard was that it's free with the smaller ship classes, but bigger ships are only for paying customers.

There are two forms of Navy Field subscription services. Both services do not go into effect until ANY sailor reaches level 30. From here on out you can choose to select out the following options.
Regular : A regular account will be priced at $7.99 per month and provide an effective means to continue playing Navy Field.
Premium : A premium account will be priced at $11.99 per month, and in addition to providing further game play, players will receive an added 1,000 extra EXP, points, and credits from each battle (must be in battle for 5 minutes to receive bonus).

Free you said? Let it be said it's semi-free.

No offline play?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

No, its actually free free now.  Doesnt matter what level.

It used to be you had to pay after level 30.  Now you dont, you just take an XP hit on your sailors after 30 unless you subscribe.

got it this afternoon.  Pretty fun but sucks at first when everybody else has huge ships and you are stuck with the frigate.

I agree. It is alot of fin. But getting nuked from battleships from across the map isnt cool. Thats why I try to stay in DD only battles for now.

Get used to everyone being in bigger ships than you lol.

Easiest nation is KM if you arent retarded, they have the best DD, best CL, best CA, and strong BBs (best bb1,2 after that they arent any more).

I think the consensus is that the UK is the 'easiest' nation, KM you actually have to have a slight modicum of skill to keep the other guy at your max range since KM outranges everyone.

US is good at BB and CL, don't know about CA, and their BBs all just got buffed.

IJN sucks all round.
