Silat, I never even thought about that, but it would be possible.  You could use the up/down axis for throttle and the left/right axis for RPMs.  Or you could use up/down for one engine and left/right for the other.  I haven't done much programming for the CH USB suite, and would have to figure out the right way to toggle the engines without the main throttle overriding the mini stick.

Sounds like something to work on while I'm stuck in a hotel room this week.

Look up JNOV's post over at the CH Hanger.. hes done it with the mnistick awhile back. I havent screwd around with it yet. but basically he uses the x axis to break one throttle down to 70 % power when deflected. It doest change the input when centered.

Hi

Im not sure what I want but it sounds interesting.
Example you could turn off or throttle down the left engine by pushing stick left (actually up is what I call left), then push stick forward for all engines again?

Would you also want the right engine to throttle down when the mini-stick is pushed right, with full engines on when the stick is pushed up?  This may be rough to get right, as it's hard to move the mini-stick purely up/down or left/right without getting the other axis in there a little.

I'm going to have to dig into the programming docs.  This sounds doable, but I'm going to have to train up my script-fu.

I believe that is why JNOV decided to limit the inputs to the x axis, and ignores the Y axis... I wouldnt want to hold the ministick up for full throttle. If its in neutral, there should be no changes in throttle. Left stick left engine throttles down, right stick right engine throttles down.

Just my 2 cents.

Balsy you are probably correct.
