For the largest of the large gliders. There was some problems with the middle spar, and flexing. They ended up attaching a bar that ran between the rear fuselages to help keep it from flexing.

Or, since you said what it was, they can google very well . . . :lol

That's what I had to do.  I had no idea what it was.  Thought perhaps a prototype for cross-atlantic bombing (but then the extra engine wouldn't have made sense for that).

The google on the glider said the thing carried 22,000 kgs of cargo.  That's a monster indeed.  Can see the need for 5 engines . . .

Solution for pilots who couldn't maintain formation.

Thats a HE-111Z its a duel heinkel. Ive seen em but I do not believe it was the ones that were towed by 3 110s as gliders. They can fly on their own

The HE-111z was built to be the tow plane for the me-321 'Gigant' glider as an alternative to using 3 110s as tow planes.  My post was poorly worded so I can see how you misunderstood my meaning (if indeed that is what you were responding to).

If I hit the middle of the wing with a 30mm do I get 2 kills instead of 1? :)

Takes a wee bit more then 1, Heinkels were beasts. But yes 2 kills watch them fall into the inside and BOOM :D
