I'm guessing you would have approved of Patton or MacArthur invading commie land on their own initiative?

as an intentional hijack...

would they have succeed where napoleon and hitler couldn`t?

i mean...could the sherman or the m48 take on the t34 and the stalin? was the mustang and the spit 14 good enough to beat the la9? was the american soldier tough enough for the russian winter? would have the russians let them in to throw over stalin, or resisted?

if u have to cross 2000 miles to resupply them freezing soldiers,that might make a difference.

maybe general george s. patton was assassinated for entertaining those very questions.  remember that the last roosevelt administration was just crawling with reds, especially within the state department as were the british foreign office and MI5 as well.  the soviet espionage continued in full stride into the truman administration and beyond.
