I am happy to announce the Training staff are finally able to offer a new

Aces High Training/Trainers Website: it will always be under construction for constant updates however frequent or infrequent they might be ;)

you can find it here:
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

TC,

I'll see that we get a link at ahevents.org/site/ with this training page.  Nicely done!

Great site but what I lack is a simple defnition of energy in one of the most basic sections. For example

Learning To Fly
*Tips For Learning
...
..
.
*Basic Manouvers
*Key to flight is Energy

In short explain how energy works and why one should think about energy and what manouvers bleed energy more then others.

Awarness of energy comes in tooo late in a pilots life and lately the awarness of energy has been totally neglected by the new breed of pilots.

AWESOME. Thanks very much Training Corps.

I did notice under 'trim and auto-trim' there seems to be a sentence or line missing on the second paragraph:

Quote
There are other changes as well, but the pitch change is the largest normally, and the noticeable. The pilot can compensate for the change by Sometimes it moves that center position (where the plane will fly straight and level, and where the stick sits if you let go of it) too much for comfort or ease of control.

Also Hammer's convergence graphics are all broken.

Awesome job!

Thanks... I'll check the graphics links and take a look at the trim write-up.

sure thing, as noted we felt as if Hammer had enough uploaded that we could go public, we know we are still lacking on some things, but we wanted to offer something....keep visiting, you will see updates as they come available........

and I want to thank all the Trainers past & present for all their contributions

and Hammer, especially for making it all happen ( building the site )

What you see is just a small portion of the pool of information that has been worked on for some sort of distribution.  If you can think of a topic, there is very likely already a rough draft, or a draft waiting for images, or film, or format transcription...Or at the very least an outline or place holder for the topic.

That's a little insight into what TC means by "forever under construction".

TC, just a random question, but can normal members upload anything onto the site? if one of us were to write an article on something or a help guide for so and so, and it was deemed good enough, any chance of getting it uploaded to the site?

No Sir, uploads are handled only by HTC / Training Staff

One stands a very good chance if they write an article or help file and some "Pillars Of The AH Community" find it to be a valuable addition/article that offers something that is not already available............

I would even say if it is something already available, but looked at from a different angle, it would get posted.  Like I always say, tactics are like opinions... everybody's got one! ;)
