sitting in the hangar music...
« on: May 12, 2000, 02:43:00 PM »
how cool would it be to be able to be sitting in the hangar/tower and be able to turn on the record player and switch theme songs for each plane by selecting a different plane?       hehe

say you can set your own mp3's to play for each aircraft as a sort of audio cue to which plane you selected:

example:

La5FN: "theme from The Hunt for Red October"

c-47: "Wagner: Ride of the Valkeries"

Spit 5: "Austin Powers intro" yeah baby!

A6m5: "Carl Douglas: Kung foo fightning"!!!! lol

C.205: "John Williams: THe Godfather Theme"

p-51D: "real McCoy: Runaway" or "Creedence clearwater revival: Run through the jungle"

P-38L: "johnny Cash: Burning ring of fire"

PanzerIV: "Sam Cook: Chain Gang"

Spit 9: "pink Floyd: learning to fly" or "Duran Duran: View to a kill"

M-16: "Scott Joplin: The entertainer"

Bf109G10: "steppenwolfe: Magic Carpet ride"

Typhoon: "theme from Braveheart"

B-17G: "gershwin: Exerpt from rhapsody in blue"

F4u1c: "Theme from Top gun" what the hell its navy right?

lol I'm having some fun with this while D/l songs from napster       but you get the idea

LOL !  That WOULD be very cool!  But something tells me that  HTC would have to pay royalty's.

I think the SPIT IV should be the background music for the  commericial that sells Barbie's Safari Set on Nick at Nite. (End of commericial, a young lad shreeks "Look, there's room for Ken in the back!)

Heh, they could have it to where you had a theme wav associated with each plane that is activated on leaving the tower or (my preference) with a keyboard key.

Just convert whatever mp3 you wanted to wav, name it theme.wav (or whatever file name HTC chose) and stick it in the plane folder and away ya go

that would rock!

hit the "M" key any time and whatever plane you have waiting in hangar or when in the air the theme wav comes up! lol

bailing needs music too I think hehe

Free falling... yeah lol
Burning ring of fire would work for that too
(I fell in to a burning ring of fire... I went down down down and the flames went higher!" rofl)

Only ONE tune for the buffs...

"Amazing Grace"; bagpipe rendition.

Gonna find and rent "Memphis Belle" again tonight.

For the P51D.. Jackson Browne "The Pretender" .. "... I wanna be a happy idiot..."

Yep Memphis Belle has been on satellite here in UK a couple of times in the last 6 weeks... and I managed to tape it last time!!  Yay!

Hmm.... finally I have managed to stop laughing at imagining the 'Entertainer' being played whilst in a M16!  Warn us next time Citabria... I nearly died laughing - I won't be able to imagine anything else when I hear that music now other than the M16!
