Magnetic Precession on P-47N?
« on: October 14, 2006, 10:09:11 PM »
Anyone else notice the approx. 8 degree difference in the wet compass and the directional gyro?  Haven't noticed it on any other Jug...

Didn't know if that was some sort of built in error for realism or just a gripe for the crew chief.

Maybe you got metal legs and they make the compass miss?

Magnetic precesion??  Am LMFAO, in seat!! BWahaahaa!!
I haven't heard that word since taking my PPL test 50 years ago!
Checking for MP in AH2?  In all craft to see which has it, and which don't?  Instead of looking at the little GPS-Map and watching for nme to shoot at?

Stoney, you have GOT to be a CFI?  Yes?

(this will slay me all day!  MOOhahaaa!)

Probably, but I just didn't know if was supposed to reflect some sort of historical deal or if it was just a bug in the model

If you can sit there and tell someone it "is 8 degrees off".   There are some issues that need to be dealt with.

Bugs, your responses are too predictable that you Ignored, and I don't even need to see em.   But then again, I know who you are.   Too funny.
