The usage of the stuff in the UK has dropped to a 10 year low.

I think this should be an eye opener to our government. Ive been suspecting that legalising the stuff would be a great ide. The police could focus on what matters.

Legal or illegal doesn't really matter to me. I've been enjoying doobage since about age 15. It's one of those things that is totally unreasonable...you can drink booze but not smoke pot. Stupid if you ask me.

Booze makes people aggressive and fall down allot. OTOH pot gives you munchies and later a good nights sleep.

The most common arguement is it's a 'gateway' drug. Well..um..the first thing I experimented with in my life was booooooze! That was the gateway drug for me.

What's more is the first report done and released this summer shows no known cancer producing agents in pot smoke (unlike cigarettes)

But legal or not doesn't change anything for me. I get my supply from independent growers to bypass the illegal 'black market' therefore no support of gang violence.

I enjoy one every now and then. Perhaps as much as  3 or maybe 4 times a year when I was young and wild. Now its been about a year but who knows, maybe im in the mood for one the next time i have the oportunity.

If it was legal and available I might up the dosage to 3 or 4 times a year again.

As with most things they are more fun when you dont do it all the time. :)

Some problems with the report.

1.) Doesn't show how many people it sampled.  Nor where the people were sampled.

2.) Doesn't show if any increase or decrease in harder drugs exists.  With the ease of restrictions of marijuana, has it emboldened people to try more dangerous ones?  Are there converts who used to toke, but now are in harder ones instead?

BS.

Marijuana is not as carefree and healthy as smokers would have you think.  On the other hand, it is not as deadly and bad for you as anti-drug people would have you think.

The law against weed exists so cops have a reason to lock up them long haired hippie freaks keeping our daughters safe from those preeeverts.  :D

I always thought the law against weed exists so cops in small towns like mine had something to do

The laws against weed exist because cotton farmers were worried that hemp was going to outsell cotton.  The "Ill effects" were just a front to get them banned.  The cotton industry lobbied hard to get it illegalized.

The name DuPont and the invention of Nylon has more to do with pot being illegal than any concern over it's ill effects.

When people ask me, a former cop, why I smoke weed daily, I tell em nature is smarter than politicians and drug companies.

For years I took whatever pills the doc said would help with my torn up nerves, blood tests showed my liver & kidneys were taking a thrashing on top of living in a "chemical straight jacket"

Started smoking medical grade weed a year ago, it does everything BETTER than the ALL the pills combined; kills pain, calms my nerve pain, sleep better.. you name it. Weed has replaced them all and I feel much better. I'm not a unique case, cancer patients tokers drastically reduce prescription drug intake as well... weed just works better.

I do love how the disgraced clones booted from clonegress all allege they are drunks, alcohol is a legal addictive drug; ergo they are drug addicts.. yet they tell you and I we cant smoke a non addictive plant thats less harmful than their drug of choice? scumbag hypocrites.

This 1 big reason why I'm an Independent thinker and voter, dems / republiclones lack the nuts to use common sense and stand up to the party that paid for their seat in office. It took the people of California to change the laws here, we obviously wanted legal weed, but the spineless republiclones & democlones, once again, ignored the will of the people and sided with money.
