So what's up with the gas prices?
Miraculously, they go down right before elections...
I know a lot of people very nervous, wondering exactly what we had to sacrifice in the future to pay for this sunny picture the government is trying to portray now.
For the last 10+ years, gas prices have been going UP in spring, DOWN in fall-- demand goes up in spring, and refining capacity (they normally run at 90+%) is diminished by all the 'botique' blends that
librules demanded for dirty-air places like Kalifornia. (Clean air is nice and all, but it has a price) That, in addition to the fact that we havent built a refinery in the US since 1971, due to the endless objections of
librule environmenalists. Or.... ya could just blame it on Bushs' oil buddies:aok (Why are librules always mystified by the law of supply and demand?)
